Annemarie Huguette Zephirin

Annemarie Huguette Zephirin, known to the family as Huguette, was born on July 19, 1941, in Cap- Haitien, Haiti to Louise Zephirin and Emmanuel Maisonneuve. While in Haiti, Huguette attended Nezida School in Cap-Haitien. In Haiti, she spent her time sewing and embroidering dresses with her mother Louise Zephirin. She migrated to the United States from Haiti in June of 1984 and resided in Manhattan, New York with her sisters Gladys Zephirin and Anne Marie Dessources until January 2021. While living in New York, Huguette spent most of her time helping others through charity work and sewing. She loved to spend time roaming the streets of Manhattan, exploring every avenue from dusk till dawn. To her family she was always the life of the party; no matter what tune you would play she would already be on the dance floor showing off her best moves. After residing in Manhattan, New York for over 30 years, she moved to Frisco, Texas with her niece, Phara, her great-niece, Angie, and great-nephew Ryan. While in Texas, Huguette continued to be her loving self and was always the life of the party. Whenever she entered a room, her presence was always known. Although she did not have children of her own, all of her nieces and nephews were her children. Sadly, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, Annemarie Huguette Zephirin passed away at the age of 81. She will be deeply missed but her memory will continue to live on through her surviving family members and friends.

Huguette is survived by her brothers Ernest Zephirin, Emmanuel, Raphael, Frantz Maisonneuve, and Reynold Lambert; sisters Gladys Zephirin, Claudette Valbrun, Gabrielle Maisonneuve, Odile Naylor, Nelly Germain, and Mireille Marzouka and Yolaine Lambert. She is also survived by nieces Phara, Ludie Dessources, Geraldine, Stephanie Zephirin, Barbara Damus, Lucchessie, Linda, Lunise, Lleutz, and Luxy Germain. Nephews Harry Damus, Johnny Zephirin, and Levelt Germain. Great niece Angeline Wynter, great nephews Patrick Pierre, Michael Guillaume, and Ryan Wvnter
