Billie Grace Bates, 82, of Richardson, Texas passed away Wednesday with her family by her side. Billie was born in Dallas to William and Grace Bonner Tucker in 1929. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and later attended Texas Christian University where she met her husband Johnnie Bates. They married in1950. Billie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Gordon Luttrell; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Barbie Bates; and granddaughters, Jenna Bates, Jaime Bates and Kimberly Luttrell. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Randy Bates; and grandson, Michael Bates. Billie was an active member of the United Disciples Christian Church in Richardson.
