Billie Jeanette Greenhill

Billie Jeanette (McNeil) Greenhill was born on November 7 1940 in Seagraves Texas and she met the Lord on February 4th 2021. Jeanette had a lot of names that she was given over the year’s names like Sister, Aunt Nette and her favorite was simply Granny Billie.

Jeanette was an avid genealogy buff and she spent a better part of the 2nd part of her life researching and documenting her family’s past. She also enjoyed sewing and restoring old dolls, Thrift shopping, penny slot machines and most of all helping others who were in need. She loved to make people happy and to surprise people with cards and phone calls singing them Happy Birthday each and every year. Jeanette loved her dogs as much as she loved her family. She never met a stranger and touched the lives of so many people with her kind sharing nature.

Jeanette lived all over the great State of Texas she had homes in Lamesa, Welch, Garland, Jefferson, Wylie before finally settling down in Richardson Texas.

Jeanette is preceded in death by three babies Terry Lee Henson, Donna Carol Henson and Delores Diane Henson. Her parents Iral Canada McNeil and Willie Lee McNeil. Two brothers Winfred “Lefty” McNeil and Wallace McNeil. A son in-law Harry Hinton, a grandson Michael Betty and Great Granddaughter Josie Schlosser.

She is survived by her husband Rickie Greenhill, Two brothers Brian McNeil (Jerry) of Garland Tx, Terry Lee McNeil of Louisiana, Sister in Law Velva McNeil of Abilene Texas, 5 children Darvin C Henson (Nita) of Bossier City La, Carolyn D Henson of Richardson Texas, Cheryl D Spurlin (David) of Richardson Texas, Cynthia D Hinton of Wylie Texas and Brian Greenhill of Nevada Texas, 9 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews and cousins along with countless friends.

Services are being held at Sparkman Funeral Home 1029 South Greenville Avenue Richardson Texas 75081 Viewing will be on Thursday February 11th between the hours of 6PM and 8PM and Memorial Services are being held Friday February 12th at 1PM.
