Married Donald E. Libby on Sept. 25th, 1945-as they began a lifetime journey in the U.S. Air Force

Raised 2 children, Mark and Lynn: Pursued musical interests and artistic endeavors

Loved raising poodles and siamese cats

Employed as the House Manager of The Performing Arts Center with the University of Texas

Her life evolved around countless family activities, volunteering at her friends Montessori school and traveling

Carmen is survived by:

-Daughter Lynn Sterling and fiance' Dennis Bundy

-Sister's Jackie Quinn from Florida and Connie Lanier from Austin

-Nieces Jennifer Spille and Wendy Lanier in Austin, Melodee Sidebottom in Denver and Kathy Wolfe in Florida

-Nephews Chris Lanier in Jasper and Phil Lanier in Lake Conroe

-Brother-in law Joe Lanier in Jasper

-Dennis Bundys family, Mother Coleen, Sisters Debby and husband Gary, Diane and husband Cecil, Darlene and family, brothers Danny, Darrell and wife Barbara
