Daniel Oliveira Fontes, age 41, passed away peacefully at his home in Heath, Texas on July 15th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 31st, 1984 in Dallas, Texas to Alberto and Sayonara Fontes, Daniel grew up in Rowlett and later pursued his education at the University of North Texas, ultimately earning a master’s degree from the University of Dallas in 2013.
Daniel was a man full of heart—a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loyal friend. He married the love of his life, Noelle DiGiovanni, in 2012, and together they built a beautiful life, raising their two sons, Dexter and Dillon. Daniel’s greatest joy was being with his family, whether it was fishing at their lake house, playing games with his boys, or simply soaking in the quiet moments of togetherness at home.
He was the kind of man who showed up—always. A steady and generous provider, Daniel poured himself into everything he did, including his many roles at Martin Marietta, where he worked for nearly two decades. He found purpose in his work, pride in his responsibilities, and joy in the camaraderie of his colleagues.
But Daniel’s soul lived on the water. He cherished his time casting lines with his best friend, Roxie, by his side, or his family on his boat. He was at peace on the lake. Those who knew him best will remember his boundless generosity, his fierce loyalty, and his unwavering love for those closest to him.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Noelle; his sons, Dexter and Dillon; his parents, Alberto and Sayonara; his brother, Bruno; and his sister, Amanda. His love for his family and friends was immeasurable, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
For anyone wishing to watch Daniel's service virtually, the service will also be lived streamed and can be accessed here: https://youtube.com/live/E80yeZSpusc?
The Fontes family warmly invites guests to honor the life of Daniel through attire that reflects their personal feelings: If you are celebrating a life well lived, you are welcome to wear green—a color symbolizing renewal, peace, and hope. If you are in mourning and wish to express your grief, traditional black is also appropriate. Above all, your presence is what matters most.
