

Dennis William Moore was victim to a car accident in the early evening on July 27th, 2026. A lifelong tech nerd and gadget aficionado, he maintained a motorized scooter for quick neighborhood rides to the grocery store. He was making just such a run when the accident occurred, and passed away in the early morning hours of August 28. Before his retirement, he worked as an HVAC technician and spent many years as a household and neighborhood handyman, a real life MacGyver. In addition to his love of gadgets, he was a fan of sci-fi and fantasy and spent many years playing various MMO RPGs. He also enjoyed comedy and was a fan of Lewis Black, George Carlin, and Jon Stewart. He was preceded in death by his son, Jason, his sister, Pat, his friend of many years, Bob Gill, and his beloved black cat, Merlin. He is survived by a son, Brian, grand-daughters Lindsey and Aliyah, and a daughter, Amelia.
