Elbert Milton Highnote

Elbert Milton Highnote, 96, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on July 9, 2018. He was born in Winnsboro, Texas on May 27, 1922 to Brittie Mae (Cook) Highnote and George W. Highnote. Milton married Mary Ann Steed on March 4, 1949.

Milton worked as a quality control engineer. He served in the US Army and earned many decorations such as the American Theater Campaign Medal, the EAME Campaign Medal with two Bronze Stars, the Good Conduct Medal, the Victory Ribbon, one Service Stripe, and one Overseas Service Bar.

Milton is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Highnote; and grandchild, Parker Wacasey. He is survived by his son, Stephen Highnote; daughter, Sheila Wacasey and husband Gary; grandchildren, Alexis Wacasey, Marissa Nemati and husband Marc, and Selina Wacasey.
