Auntie Grace is my mother's older sister; for us, she defined "Aunt."  She could walk both lines.  She served great food but if you messed with her rules, you were facing swift justice.
To me, she was a force of nature and she is now joined with those forces minus the limitations of flesh and bone.  Those of us who came within her circle benefited from her.  Thank you, Auntie Grace.

Grace was a dear friend of my mother who also passed away not too long ago.  We loved Grace very much.  She was polite, gracious and always cheerful.  She couldn't give enough compliments.  A wonderful, wonderful woman who will be very missed.  My thoughts go out to her children.  Her  boys were always over at her place taking care of her.

I will always remember Auntie Grace's cheerful attitude and genuine concern for others. She was sweet, her voice was sweet. She would always say "That's enough about me, how about YOU?" I will also remember her as Dan and Sylvia's sidekick when Robert and Jenny were young and the whole bunch came to Los Angeles for Dan's work and we had so much fun together. Bob always had a special place in his heart for Auntie Grace and I learned a lot about her from the stories he told me of when he and the cousins were kids. Dan, it will take some time but I hope the joyful memories of your mom soon outweigh the sorrow. What an impressive woman.

We are so very sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a loving caring Mother and we know it must be difficult.  Your Mom, you and your entire family have our prayers. We only wish we could take away the pain and sorrow you are feeling.

Dan- Your mom (and my adopted mom!) will be missed very much. She and I enjoyed literally hundreds of hours over the last 35+ years telling stories and laughing at jokes. Your grandparents certainly named their daughter correctly: Grace was a genuine blessing to everyone's lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. I know its an old saying to repeat that she is in a better place now, but the fact is she now knows Jesus personally and she's having a lot more fun catching up with all her family she hasn't seen in a while. Her work is done here and we've got more work to do before we can get to that place she resides called paradise. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

We were very saddened to hear of the death of Dan's mother. We know how difficult these days must be and trust that the wonderful memories you have of her will help you and your family. Helen and I are saddened by the passing of Grammy, she was for sure a special lady and will long be remembered.  We will save a special place in our prayers for her this week, and will have a mass said for her at our church. Our prayers are with you and your family at the funeral service tomorrow. You should take heart that Grammy passed away in peace and tranquility with no pain and your loving family surrounding her, our heartfelt condolences to all of you on your loss.

I will always think of her as "Amazing Grace".  She was an exceptional woman and I loved her dearly.

We love you and will miss you so much.   You will be in our  hearts until we meet again.

Grace was our mother's dear, dear friend from the age of 13.  Later, she was "Aunt Grace" and a second mother to us.  It's difficult to imagine that we'll never hear the sound of her voice, and especially her laugh, again.  When signing off of our phone calls, she'd often say, "Ah, it's a great life if you don't weaken."  We will miss her profoundly.

Grace was very special to both of us and she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go to her family at this difficult time and safe travel for her family traveling this week.

Mom lived her whole life in preparation for heaven. Today she is with my Dad in heaven, forever. We miss you both very much. God love you.

Their are not enough words to express my feelings right now.  Grace and I became very close in the year that I knew her.  She was a kind caring sweet funny lady.  I was very fortunate to have spoken to her the nigh before she passed.  The only peace I have is knowing that she's soaring with the angels straight up to Heaven.....Miss you my dear sweet friend ...

There is an empty place here at Brandywine Apartments without our dear Grace Kempf.  We will miss the visits on her front porch and all the laughs we had.  Go in Peace now, dear friend, to your blessed Lord.
