It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Patrick Reynolds, who left us far too soon on August 23, 2025, at the age of 22. Jack was a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend, whose adventurous spirit, kind heart, and contagious energy touched the lives of all who knew him.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Jack attended the University of Colorado Boulder and worked at Vail to follow his passion for skiing. Jack was pursuing his dream of becoming a commercial airline pilot with United Airlines and was about to start training for pilot school while he proudly worked on the ramp for United.
Jack had a deep love for nature and adventure; skiing, sailing, rock climbing, and mountain biking were among his favorite pastimes. He also cherished playing Monopoly and Phase 10 with friends and family. His love for cars, the outdoors, and his loyal dog Bear were constant sources of joy in his life.
Jack is survived by his loving parents, Andrea and Charles Reynolds, his sister Caroline Reynolds, and his brother Charlie Reynolds. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Nadine Kirby, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him dearly.
Jack’s light and laughter will be missed beyond measure, but his memory will live on in every mountain trail, ski slope, and open sky.
A funeral Mass will be held in Jack’s honor on August 29th at 1:30 pm in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson, Texas.
