Jesse M Villarreal

unexpectedly on Thursday, July 19, 2012. He was a longtime resident of Richardson, Texas but

was born and spent his formative years in Laredo, TX and married in San Antonio, Texas. He

was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Yolanda Villarreal by his son-in-law Steve

McIntosh and by his mother and father Josefa and Dr. Miguel L. Villarreal. He is survived by his

son, Marc E. Villarreal, daughter, Adria Villarreal, granddaughter, Grace Evelia McIntosh, and

brothers Miguel and Jose Villarreal.

Jesse graduated from both the undergraduate and Law School of St. Mary’s University in San

Antonio and practiced real estate law for over 40 years in Dallas. His legal career began with the

US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development before a long tenure with US LIFE Corporation

where he traveled all over the United States closing complex real estate transactions. He

completed his legal career at BNC Real Estate Company. Jesse treasured his family and took

particular joy in coaching Marc and Adria’s youth sports teams, guiding their educational

pursuits and planning family vacations with his wife. Jesse also shared a special bond with his

granddaughter Gracie and she was a source of immense joy and fulfillment in his life as he

nurtured her amazing spirit and budding abilities. Jesse also loved tending to the family farm in

Fannin County and built many strong friendships with the residents of the High Prairie

community. Jesse was a true gentleman, a pure joy to be around and will be missed more than

words can describe by all who knew him.
