John F. Walker was born 2-26-24 to Herbert & Elizabeth Walker, Springfield, Mo. and passed away on 1-18-11. He is survived by wife Susan Curtis Walker of 59 years, sons; John Jr., Mark & wife Beatrice, Brian & wife Jennifer, sister, Treva Ann Wilson, California, Grandchildren; Roman Barnes Walker, Zoe, and Lux. John served his country in the Navy assigned to carriers in the Atlantic, Pacific & the Mediterranean, retiring after 23 years as a LCdr. His second career was with Rockwell Int. Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 28 at 11:00 am, at Central Congregational Church, 5600 Royal Lane, Dallas. Cemetery Service at 3:00 pm at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Congregational Church for the Memorial Garden.
