Born on February 2, 1944, in McKinney, Texas, Judith was the beloved daughter of Louise Key and was later adopted by Hershel Ray Key. She married the love of her life, L. Barry Anderson, Jr., on October 5, 1962, beginning a lifelong journey together filled with devotion and adventure.
Throughout her career, Judith held various office and receiving positions and also enjoyed working as an Avon representative. Even after she stopped selling Avon, she continued to meet regularly with the close-knit group of friends she made through that experience—a testament to her warmth and loyalty.
Judith had a passion for collecting marbles, a hobby she shared with Barry. Together, they made three memorable trips to Ohio to participate in private production runs at a marble plant. Their love of travel also took them on many vacations, including two cherished Alaskan cruises.
Judith is survived by her daughter, Davita Harless, and son-in-law, Larry Harless; her granddaughter, Kasandra Harless, and Kasandra’s fiancé, Rae Mayes; as well as a number of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service to honor Judith’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Sparkman Funeral Home in Richardson.
