Kathy Lynn Foote

Kathy is survived by her husband, Ron Starling; her son, Joshua Foote; her mother, Shirley Benn; her sister, Susan Bishop; and her brother, Christopher Benn.

Kathy had a deep and enduring passion for animals. Over the years, she dedicated herself to working in various animal clinics, where she brought compassion and care to countless lives. Her love for helping others led her to expand her path, pursuing a career in healthcare. She earned an Associate of Applied Science, became a certified surgical technologist, and went on to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Science. Kathy then joined the team at Medical City Plano, where she continued to touch lives through her service and dedication.

Outside of her professional life, Kathy found joy in gardening, spending time with her family, and playing with her beloved dog, Stella. She was known for her kind heart, her infectious smile, and her unwavering positivity. Her determination, drive, and willingness to embrace new opportunities were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Kathy’s warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her legacy of love, care, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed.
