I did not learn of Kevin's death until today and I was devastated. Kevin was a great man and would do anything for anyone. I once had a mother duck and four ducklings in my back yard and I didn't know what to do with them for months. Finally, with Kevin and his daughter's help and others, we herded the ducks down to a close by golf course. One of the little ducklings was so tired, he really couldn't make it and Kevin picked hiim up and took him to the water. He loved to play table tennis and had his own special paddle. We so enjoyed him at the senior center and he always made me laugh. May he rest in peace and he will be missed.

I sat in front of Kevin in the West Orange band while he played trombone... He was funny and at times, seemed to be very serious. I've often wondered where he moved and what he was doing... I'd like to think he's playing music in heaven. God bless his family.

Kevin was the father of two amazing young ladies who he loved very much, Deanna and Elena Haynes. He was so proud of them. Kevin worked hard and had many hobbies including making art. He recently fulfilled his dream of opening a stained glass business.

Love has no ending girls, just a resting place.

It was too soon to lose my Daddy. I’m grateful for the time I had. He was always himself:creative, kind, and an inquirer. He taught me so much, and the world will miss his honesty, his brilliant mind, and his brightness and artwork.
