Lillian “Billie” Ruth Garrison passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 90 at Brookdale
Assisted Living Center in Dallas, Texas.
She was born to Raymont and Genevieve Hudson on August 22, 1930 in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Sonny, her sister
Elizabeth, her brother Howard, and her husbands David Brown and Tom Garrison.
Billie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is
survived by her five children, David Brown (Connie), Valarie Wilson (Bill), Vicki Sodek (Larry),
Scott Brown, Tammy Brown, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and her sister Pat
Consalvo.
Billie was an exceptional wife and mother who cared deeply for her family and friends. In
addition to raising five children, she was very talented with sewing, crafts, and later started a
career in floral design. Billie embraced life to the fullest and loved to swim, bowl, roller skate,
play bridge, and was an avid golfer. Billie also loved flying and eventually earned her pilot’s
license for single engine aircraft.
She lived a long and happy life and although the last few years were difficult due to health
issues, she never complained and always kept a positive and upbeat attitude. She would
always end her phone calls with her children by saying “I hope you sleep with Angels”. We
all know that tonight Mom is “sleeping with her angels”. Sleep well Mom – you are loved.
