

Linda Gail Wilson, 73, of Richardson, TX, passed away on December 26th, 2024. She was born in San Angelo, TX on March 24th, 1951, to Woodrow and Madolynne Bradley Wilson. As the child of an Air Force Officer, Linda lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Santa Maria and San Diego, California, and Cheyenne, Wyoming, before coming to live in Texas.
Linda graduated from Garland High School. She received a bachelor’s from East Texas State University, where she was an honors English student and a contributor to the school newspaper. Linda earned a JD from the University of Denver and later received a master’s from Texas A&M Commerce.
She was a dedicated and respected teacher at Richland College for 20 years. After her retirement, she curated the booklists and led the discussions for the Silver Saints Book Club.
Linda was a long-time member of the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas, TX. She loved the traditional service and often attended evenings. Linda enjoyed her book club and participation in the events for seniors. On Christmas Eve she attended the 12:00 o'clock service and the luncheon following. Linda was able to visit with her friends one last time and discuss Christmas plans.
She loved books and reading. Linda enjoyed and was knowledgeable about ballet, opera, renaissance music, ice skating, and gymnastics. Linda loved animals, especially cats, and cared for every kind of animal that visited her backyard.
She was a loyal and loving friend who was generous in giving and supported many animal welfare programs. She didn’t neglect to help the underserved members of our community and faithfully prayed for them.
Linda is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her sister Janis, her nephew Bradley Lynn, Aunt Quinnie of North Carolina, and several cousins dear to her heart. Her memory will be a blessing to them.
