Sorry to hear about Aunt Jean. She was the youngest of 11 siblings. A couple of those were very young when they passed and the oldest sister, Martha, was in her twenties. I have some of the family tree if any Blotkamp descendants are interested. I remember Grandma & Grandpa's farm outside of Avilla, where the Blotkamp children grew up. I remember the big dinner table in the middle of the kitchen. I remember playing pinochle with Grandma and the way she snapped the cards as she layed them on the table. Aunt Jean and her siblings loved to play cards, drink beer, and smoke. They loved to socialize!
Photo attached is probably around 1942. Top Row left to right - Ralph Engerman, Legs, Bob, and Harold. Middle Row - June Harvey, Martha, Donna, Agatha Truelove and Eileen Harvey. Bottom Row - Barb (my mom), Marilyn Harvey, Jean, Ray, & Rita. Mom's note says that the photo was taken at Grandma Truelove's.
