He married his best friend and soulmate, Mary Burden, September 29,1951 in Pell City, Alabama. A true love story and inspiration for generations to come.
Mac enjoyed spending time with his family, dog, Charlie, and friends in his Carrollton home as well as at his lake house in Alba, TX. He could often be found fishing, cooking, drinking coffee, riding the tractor, or playing the slots. He was a mechanic, machinist, welder, a true jack of all trades.
Upon Mary’s passing, Kendl moved in with her Papa. It is unknown who took care of whom. Without the care of Kendl and the family Mac would not have been living and enjoying the last eight years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, wife, and oldest son, Malcolm “Walters” Jr.
He is survived by his best friend and son, David, his wife, Jeniece and their 2 kids, David Jr. and Kendl Anderson, and her fiancé, Eric Livingston; Walter’s daughter and husband, Marla & David Yonis, and their kids, Riley and McKenna, along with many other family including his two nieces and nephew and their spouses; Resa & Udean Dillon, Connie & Joe Free, and Margaret & Mickey Limbaugh
A visitation with friends and family will begin at 10 am on Monday November 12, 2018, at Sparkman Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Richardson. Funeral service for Mac will follow at 11 am, followed by burial at Restland Memorial Park, in the Garden of Faith.
