The last few days of her life she kept saying my dad was on a train to come pick her up. He finally arrived on his train to take her home. She had a life-long passion for genealogy that she spoke about excitedly up to her last days.
Mary was born in Cisco, Texas on June 4, 1941, and grew up in Mississippi and Texas with her loving parents, Joseph Virgil, and Ola Anglin. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
She married Robert E. Raxter in 1969 in Biloxi, Mississippi. They were later sealed in the Dallas, Texas Temple in 1991.
She is survived by her children Letitia Greenwald, Lisa Butera, and Bobby (Lori) Raxter, as well as four wonderful grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren of whom she was immensely proud.
A viewing for friends and family will be held on Monday, March 20th at 9:30 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints followed by a funeral service.
