Melissa Bustos Willard

Melissa Willard passed away on May 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends whose lives she touched so deeply. Born on September 23, 1979, to Antonio and Elaine Bustos, Melissa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend remembered for her warmth, compassion, humor, and unwavering love for those closest to her.

Melissa was the beloved wife of Lane Willard and a proud mother to Lucas and Noelle Willard, who were the center of her world. She loved spending time with her children and rarely missed a chance to cheer them on at their sporting events. Some of her happiest memories were created traveling with Lane, exploring new places together, and enjoying life side by side.

She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Bustos Jr. Melissa is survived by her mother, Elaine Bustos; her brothers Anthony, Jacob, Joshua, and Michael; extended family members; and many lifelong friends who loved her dearly.

Melissa also had a special love for animals, especially her dogs Sasha, Zeus, Zoey, Duchess, Daisy, and Luna, each of whom brought her comfort and companionship throughout the years.

Melissa’s presence brought light to the people around her, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
