Michael Alan Semmer, born on April 22, 1961, in Chicago, IL, passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2024, in Fairview, TX. He is preceded by his kind-hearted father Joseph William Semmer and treasured brother Jeffrey Warren Semmer, survived by his beloved wife Apryl Jean Semmer, cherished daughter Samantha Nicole Semmer, loving mother Carole Lorraine Semmer, and dear sister Dawn Michelle Schraeder.
A devoted family man, Michael will be remembered for his loving and caring nature. His warm spirit and kindness touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His bond with his daughter Samantha was a source of immense joy in his life, and their shared moments brought him immeasurable happiness.
Michael was a proud member of Friendship Baptist Church, finding solace and strength in his faith. He had a deep love for football, particularly for the Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and took pride in being a true American.
A viewing will be held at Friendship Baptist Church (270 Country Club Rd, Fairview, TX 75069) on Wednesday, January 17th, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The interment will take place after the service at Restland Memorial Park (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243), and a celebration of Michael's life will be held at Besa's Italian Restaurant starting (7602 N Jupiter Rd, Garland, TX 75044) at 1:00 PM.
