Nigel Cox passed away in Richardson, Texas on Sunday, December 5, 2010. Born October 20, 1936 in Beeville, Texas, to Nigel Cecil Cox and Gladys Mary Baker. He attended area schools and the University of Texas at Austin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Ann Aldridge. He is survived by his loving companion, Wanda Moore; son Richard A. Cox, and daughter Lisa O’Connell; granddaughter Kirsten Cox; and many beloved friends. A private Memorial will be held at The Gardens in Richardson, Texas. In respect of his wishes, there will not be a viewing or graveside service. A memorial fund in Nigel’s name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or Operation Kindness in Carrollton, Texas (www.operationkindness.org).
