Norman A. Gietzen , 77, of Richardson, Texas passed away on July 19, 2020. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 23, 1943. Norman graduated from West Division High School and received an associate’s degree from the Milwaukee Area Technical College in applied science and telecasting.
Norman worked as a projectionist/videotape operator at Milwaukee Area Technical College until his move to Texas to be closer to his siblings. He had a passion for trains and model railroading and was an avid reader despite his battle with macular degeneration. He will forever be remembered for his knowledge and humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Alma (Glass) Gietzen and his brother Donald Gietzen. He will be greatly missed by his sister Eunice and husband (Jerry) and his many nieces and nephews as well as other family members.
