Patricia “Pat” McGowen, age 74 of Garland, TX passed away, Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born on June 29, 1941 in Fort Benning, GA to Francis Jay and Henrietta Allen. She married James Thomas McGowen on June 16, 1963. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2006.
Her loving family includes daughter, Elizabeth Jacinto and husband Matthew; son, Michael McGowen and wife Marina; siblings, William F. Allen, Alice Allen and Jane Hartzog and husband Larry. Also survived by her beloved dog, Patty.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm, Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Rd., Dallas, TX 75254
