Ralph attended SMU and was a graduate of UNT. He served his country in the Navy and received an Honorable Discharge at the end of World War II. He spent many years as the owner of Acers Meat Company. He cherished his longtime friendship with Pat Boone. Ralph was an avid golfer and played well into his 90s. He was married to his wife Patty for 59 years. She is waiting in heaven for him.
He is survived by a daughter Jamey Acers Wolf, son Andy Acers, wife Missy; two grandchildren Haley Acers Johnson, husband Barry, Sydney Acers Tucker, husband Rusty; three great-grandchildren Reagan Johnson, Hattie Johnson, and Walker Tucker.
A private service to be held by immediate family in Dallas.
