I was surprised and saddened to hear about Dick’s passing. He was a monumental force in the advertising business and a great mentor to me when I was starting out in the business. He was smart, witty, fun to be around and a great teacher. He had a dynamic personality and was a force to be reckoned with on and off the job. We weren’t close over the years, but I will miss his funny emails and occasional phone calls. I will never forget his barrel laugh and great stories. It’s hard for me to believe that he is gone from this world and I know he will be greatly missed by his family and close friends.
