He was born in Champaign, Illinois, on September 23, 1941, Robert loved family, car racing, fishing, and dogs. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, uncle, colleague and respected friend to all who knew and cared by him.
Robert is predeceased by his parents; Robert Bruce and Lois Bruce and his sister Carol Bell. Robert is survived by sisters; Barbara Wertz and Debra Bruce. His nieces and nephews; Nicole Joost, Shelly Wertz, Tanya Wertz, Penni West, and Christoper Bell.
He will be remembered at a celebration of life at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
