Theresa Florence Mosczynski, age 87, of Richardson, TX was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 25, 1932, and passed away on June 15, 2019. She passed in her home in the loving care of her daughter Suzanne Mosczynski of Plano, TX, who took care of her along with close friends Tamala Johnston, Beth Kruse, and Pat Cleary for several months before her passing. Thank you all very much. Before her passing, she was a proud and loyal employee of the City of Richardson from 1971-1996, and was assigned many job titles during her tenure there.

Theresa, also known as Terry, was known through the community for her unselfish and dedicated volunteerism through her actions at the Wildflower Arts and Music Festival of Richardson for 26 years straight. Her training as a bank teller at Home Unity in Philadelphia gave her the skills and knowledge to volunteer as a treasurer for over 10 years at the AARP of North Dallas, ending her seat just this month.

Theresa also volunteered her time with the Saint Vincent De Paul Society starting in 1984, where she helped the needy and homeless around our community. She also ran the Bingo Night every week for 14 years at the Arapaho Village Nursing Home. Theresa was a loving and caring individual who gave dearly to her family and community. She was a great wife to her husband, who she married on October 20, 1956, and was a great mother to her three children. She will be greatly missed by anyone whose life she touched.

Theresa is preceded in death by her loving parents, Chester Werwinski and Jennie Werwinski, sister; Jessie Price, brother; Edmund J. Werwinski, and grandson; Stephen Mosczynski Jr. Theresa is survived by her son; Stephen E. Mosczynski, daughter; Suzanne Mosczynski, son; Paul T. Dear Stephen, Susanne and Paul,
I write this with a heavy heart and in a state of shock. I send you prayers. May the memories you have of your life with Theresa and your dad be a source of consolation during this time of grieving.
I talked to Theresa early this year, but I was not aware that she was sick other than her existing mouth problems. In the recent past, a yearly call to your mother was our way of keeping in touch. We have been friends since our grammar school days. During my time in Guatemala, whenever she was in our neighborhood, she would visit my mother and sister.
The last time we saw one another was when she, your dad and you came to say goodbye to me before I took off for Guatemala in 1971. So you can imagine how interested I was in the video. The picture of her graduation from Little Flower with two other grads, I am in the middle. Theresa was so caring, kind and thoughtful. I was blessed with a long, lasting friendship with your mother.
You will be in my prayers and thoughts in a special way tomorrow.
Thank you for getting in touch with me.
Gratefully, Sister Geraldine Wieczerzak, MM
