

Hall was born on May 30, 1927 in Durant, Oklahoma, the son of Chapman Hall and Anna Mae (Gumm) Davidson. Hall attended Hugo High School and Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Hall served in the Navy during World War II. He was stationed on the USS Corregidor CVE-58 in the Pacific.
Hall worked as a manufactures representative for several ladies coat companies in New York, and owned Bahama Pools, a swimming pool company in Dallas. Hall, who always had a kind word for everyone, fell in love and married Darlene Helen Truetzel (deceased) on July 28, 1962 in Dallas. He is survived by one daughter, DeLynn A. Davidson of Sarasota, Florida. He is also survived by one sister-in-law: Jean Truetzel of St. Louis, MO, two nieces: Sharon Elitt of St. Louis, MO, and Susan Giles of Dallas, TX, as well as one nephew: David Truetzel of St. Louis, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dallas, or In Touch Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11:30 am at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
