

Wilma is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ancel Grubbs of Rowlett; her 3 sons, Larry of Garland, Brad of Rowlett, and Randy of Forney; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and her niece, Fran Ouradnik of Milan, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail; grandchildren, Steven and Jennifer; and her sister, Lavern Hornbeck.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Sparkman Funeral Home, and Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 4 at 10:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church, located at Ebrite and Holly St. in Mesquite. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
Wilma was a nurses aid and volunteer in a nursing home during the early years of her adult life. She later became a Stanley Home Products representative where she was an area sales manager. Wilma has been an active member of her church for over 40 years, serving as a teacher as well as a member of various women’s ministry groups. Her dream was to see the completion of their new church.
