James Jerome Marshburn

James Jerome Marshburn, 79, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Richlands with Rev. Volney Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

He is survived by his wife: Sallie Melton Marshburn; sons: James Allen Marshburn and wife Ellen of Richlands, Jerry Jerome Marshburn and wife Marie of Beulaville, Danny Lee Marshburn and wife Fran of Richlands; brother: C.W. Marshburn of Smithfield; sisters: Louise Ramsey of South Carolina, Betty Mae Hannah of New Bern; grandchildren: Paula Rhodes, Dana Thompson, Brian Marshburn, Renee Marshburn, Kayla Jones, Preston Marshburn, Joshua Marshburn, Austin Marshburn; great grandchildren: Nicole Rhodes, Allison Rhodes, Justin Thompson, Ashlee Thompson, Chance Marshburn, Olivia Carter, Hayden Marshburn.
