I fondly remember Jean from the two years I taught French at Richlands High School (1978-1979). She was a strong ally and a genuine "counselor" in the truest sense of the word. The young people who sought her advice and academic direction were indeed blessed! Also, Jean and I were well-aquainted with the Rev. Fred Duplissey family who lived in Kenly, NC, at that time. They too are all gone now, but I cling to my great memories of their friendship and help over the years Rest now, Jean. You have truly fought the good fight for others, while bringing up your own fine family.
