He was a member of the Floyd Pond Holiness Church.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Floyd Pond Holiness Church with Reverend Fred Tapper officiating. Burial will follow at the Futrell-Swinson Cemetery.
He is survived by his brothers: Ricky K. Futrell of Jacksonville, Nicky R. Futrell of Richlands, Richard J. Futrell of Jacksonville, Danny N. Futrell of Jacksonville; sisters: Visie Van Wickel of Jacksonville, Lucy F. Sargelis of New Bern.
The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30-4:00 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
