She was a member of the First Prairie Creek Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Prairie Creek Home Extension Club.
She is survived by her sons: Steve Powell and wife Angie of Raleigh, NC, Nick Powell of Greenville, NC; daughter: Peggy Powell and husband David of Richlands; grandson: Steven Powell and wife Marianne; granddaughter: Lindsey Ciprari and husband Mike; great grandchild: Logan Powell.
