The much loved Bret J Chappell passed away peacefully on September 5th, at 10:40 pm at Sutter Hospital in Santa Rosa , surrounded by his close friends. Bret was attended to by the very competent ICU staff with compassion and care .
Bret touched everyone he met in life with an energy and presence unmatched by anyone . He lived his life to the fullest and left nothing on the table .
Bret is now with his dad Harold "Chap" Chappell and is survived by his mother Mary Kathryn Chappell , his sister Traci Hooker and nephews .
A date for his celebration of life will be announced in the coming weeks . those that knew and loved him are encouraged to come share stories and memories of the One , The only , "Chappy" aka "The High Chaparral "
