Eva Mae Prince Eva passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 11 at the age of 91. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 64 years, George Prince, who died last November. She is survived by her only child, Carleton Prince, and his wife, Nancy, as well as her granddaughters, Courtney and Amanda. Eva had seven siblings and is also survived by her two younger brothers, Robert Gill of Louisville, Kentucky, and Marlin Gill of San Mateo. Eva grew up in Sacramento and met George at a dance in San Francisco while he was stationed at Treasure Island for the U.S. Navy after WWII. After spending most of their working lives in Denver, they moved to Novato to be closer to family. Eva embraced every one of her 91 years. She was never without a smile or a kind word or an easy "thank you." She came from humble beginnings and enjoyed every blessing that life bestowed upon her. She is once again with George and they are dancing the night away. We will miss her.
