Jodi Lynn Marshall was born in 1961 to loving parents, John and Dianne Marshall, who preceded her in death. Growing up, Jodi was an avid swimmer and active in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. As an adult, she served as the G.E.C. Mother Advisor for two years (1998 - 1999) and Grand Deputy for the Petaluma District for many years. Jodi loved every minute she spent in the service of others. She made a difference in the lives of so many. Jodi battled Lupus since 1978, APLS and end stage renal failure since 2009. We saw her getting tired and relief was not to be. We watched her suffer over the years and saw her fade away. Jodi was a fighter but we couldn't ask her to stay. A golden, beautiful heart stopped beating on Monday, August 8th. She is survived by her brothers, Jack (Sally), Jay and Jeff and her sister, Jan (Brian); her nieces and nephew, Jennifer (George), Kristin (Chris), Rose and Patrick. Jodi will be missed by everyone she touched and is finally at peace and out of pain. Jodi will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery with Dad and Mom. For all those that want to honor Jodi's life, memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, www.LUPUS.org, search "Tributes", click on the "2016 in Tribute Program - Lupus Foundation of America Tributes" and search "Jodi Lynn Marshall". - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/pressdemocrat/obituary.aspx?pid=181179247#sthash.9HydDHrB.dpuf
