Marlon Joseph Washington

Marlon accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at an early age.

He received his early education at St. Cornelius Elementary School and continued his studies at St. Mary’s College High School. He went on to attend the University of California, Davis, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society. In 2025, he further advanced his education by completing a Master’s degree in Public Safety Leadership from San Diego University.

On February 13, 1999, Marlon united in marriage with his high school sweetheart and college classmate, Jennifer (Jones) Washington. Their marriage was blessed with two children: Marlon Washington II, born in 2000, and Camryn Washington, born in 2004. Marlon was a devoted husband, a loving and steadfast father, a cherished son and brother. and a loyal family member and friend. His character was marked by integrity, a bright smile, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.

Marlon departed this life on July 10, 2026. His legacy remains enduring, distinguished, and unmatched.

Pubic Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 4, 2026 12-6 p.m. at Fuller Funerals Chapel located at 3100 Cutting Blvd. Richmond, CA. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Wednesday August 5, 2026 11:00 a.m. Public Visitation from 10:00am.-10:45 a.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church 1735 Enterprise Dr. Fairfield, CA

Interment will follow at the Rolling Hills Memorial Park.
