He was born March 16th, 1937 in San Rafael, CA, to Robert & Enes Powers.
Bob graduated from Marin Catholic High School in 1954, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team. Bob served in the United States Navy on the USS Kearsarge Aircraft carrier, he then became a CPA, where he had his own practice. Bob was an active member of the Elks club where he served as Treasurer for many years.
Bob is survived by his wife Janet of 55 years, 2 sons and theirs spouses Bill and Barb, Patrick and Erica; and 4 grandchildren Shealyn (20), Kristin (17), Kashmir (13), and Elliot (10). He was preceded in death by his son Rob who passed away from cancer in 2003. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be missed very much.
