Born on January 8, 1961, in Houston, Texas, Kelly was the oldest daughter of Lois and Tom Collins. She was raised in Houston and was a graduate of Westbury High School, where she was part of the Choir and the Band Aides. In September of 1989, she married Ronald Zucker and had two children, Ryan and Sydney.
Kelly dedicated more than 40 years of her life to caring for others as a Pediatric Nurse. Her compassion extended well beyond her profession, as she was deeply involved in her church.
A devout Catholic, Kelly’s faith was a pillar of her life and a source of strength and purpose. She lived her faith through both prayer and service, generously sharing her musical talents at Masses, Weddings, Funerals, and countless other church events over the years. A gifted musician, Kelly was known for her beautiful singing voice and was also an accomplished pianist and guitarist. Her commitment to her faith was further reflected in her faithful attendance at weekly adoration, which remained a staple of her life for many years. Kelly built a meaningful connection with her church community and touched the lives of many people.
Beyond her nursing career and church involvement, Kelly had a special gift for cooking and baking. An excellent chef, she found joy in preparing meals and treats for those around her.
