Kevin Calbert David Powell

He was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in the Cinco Ranch area alongside his younger brother, Kymani, and younger sister, Kira. He always had a way of making someone laugh and bringing out their smile. If he cared for you, there was never room for doubt. You knew you were loved.

To those closest to him, he carried a protectiveness like no other, always willing and ready to defend his loved ones.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Cheryl Eldemire; his father, Kevin Powell, Sr.; his brother, Kymani Powell; and his sister, Kira Powell.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Southwest Funeral Home, 9040 FM 359 Road, Richmond, TX 77406, US, on April 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Forest Park Southwest Funeral Home, 9040 FM 359 Road, Richmond, TX 77406, US, on April 23, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Forest Park Southwest Funeral Home, 9040 FM 359 Road, Richmond, TX 77406, US, on April 23, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

He is deeply loved and will be forever missed.
