Kylie Brooke Haddix-Overfield

Kylie Brooke Haddix-Overfield was born on November 10, 2023, and from her very first breath, she showed the world what true courage looks like. Born with a rare lung disease, Kylie faced challenges that most people could never imagine. At just five months old, she became the 34th baby in history to receive a double lung transplant—a gift that gave her the chance to live, grow, and share her light with the world.

Though her journey was filled with hospital stays, therapies, and obstacles, Kylie never let them define her. She was known for her beautiful smile, contagious joy, and ability to make everyone around her laugh. One of her favorite tricks was pretending to be asleep whenever her physical or occupational therapists came into the room, bringing smiles to the faces of those caring for her.

Kylie’s story touched thousands of hearts. Through news stories, social media, and her remarkable journey, people around the world fell in love with her strength, resilience, and happiness. She taught others to find joy in every day and courage in every challenge.

On May 27, 2026, Kylie completed her earthly journey and entered into the presence of Jesus. Even in her passing, she remained a hero, donating her kidneys and liver to help save the lives of others. Her legacy is one of love, hope, bravery, and selfless giving.

Though her time with us was far too short, Kylie’s impact will last a lifetime. We find comfort in knowing that she is whole, healed, and breathing freely in Heaven. She will forever be remembered as our brave little warrior, whose smile changed lives, whose faith inspired hope, and whose love knew no limits.
