Pablo Trujillo, de 66 años, de Katy, Texas, falleció en paz en su hogar el 20 de junio de 2026.

Nacido como uno de ocho hermanos en una familia unida y alegre de cinco varones y tres mujeres, Pablo llevó esa calidez a una vida dedicada a la familia y al trabajo. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Emilia, en diciembre de 1988, y juntos compartieron más de treinta y siete años de matrimonio.

Pablo trabajó durante treinta y ocho años como técnico de aeronaves, una carrera que nació de una verdadera pasión. Amaba los aviones y la ciencia del vuelo, y se esforzó mucho por dominar su oficio. Esa misma pasión lo llevó a los cielos como viajero, siempre con ganas de conocer nuevos lugares. Cuando no estaba trabajando ni viajando, Pablo era más feliz con las manos ocupadas, construyendo y reparando cosas, un hábil hombre de oficios capaz de dedicarse a casi cualquier proyecto.

Aunque orgullosamente estadounidense, Pablo nunca perdió el profundo amor por su tierra natal, México. Emigró a California con parte de su familia, después se mudó a Arizona y finalmente se estableció en Texas, que se convirtió en su hogar. A lo largo de su vida siempre buscó la manera de ayudar a los demás, y sintió toda la vida una atracción por el mar, pues era más feliz cuando estaba cerca del agua.

Por encima de todo, Pablo fue el líder de su familia, aquel a quien los demás acudían y en quien se apoyaban. Se condujo con tenacidad y una determinación serena, siempre esforzándose por superarse y nunca conforme con quedarse quieto. Tenía un espíritu ferozmente competitivo que lo impulsaba a dar lo mejor de sí en todo lo que hacía. Era incansablemente optimista, jamás se detenía en lo negativo, y siempre decía lo que pensaba, sin filtros e inconfundiblemente él mismo. También era el alma de cada reunión, un espíritu alegre y desenfadado al que nada le gustaba más que poner a todos a bailar.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Emilia; sus cuatro hijos, Edwin Trujillo, Sandy Trujillo, Michelle Trujillo y Diego Danny Trujillo; su nieto, Adam Trujillo; y sus hermanos y hermanas. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Efren Trujillo Contreras y Antonia Merino; una hermana; y un hermano.

Pablo Trujillo, 66, of Katy, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on June 20, 2026.

Born one of eight children in a close and lively family of five brothers and three sisters, Pablo carried that warmth into a life built around family and craft. He married the love of his life, Emilia, in December 1988, and together they shared more than thirty seven years of marriage.

Pablo spent thirty eight years as an aircraft technician, a career that grew out of a true passion. He loved airplanes and the science of flight, and he studied hard to master his trade. That same passion carried him into the skies as a traveler, always eager to see new places. When he wasn’t working or traveling, Pablo was happiest with his hands busy, building and fixing things, a natural handyman who could turn his attention to almost any project.

Though proudly American, Pablo never lost his deep love for his homeland of Mexico. He immigrated to California with members of his family, later moved to Arizona, and finally settled in Texas, which became home. Throughout his life he was always looking for ways to give back to others, and he had a lifelong pull toward the ocean, happiest whenever he was near the water.

Above all, Pablo was the leader of his family, the one others looked to and leaned on. He carried himself with grit and quiet determination, always working to better himself and never content to stand still. He had a fiercely competitive spirit that pushed him to give his best in everything he did. He was relentlessly optimistic, never one to dwell on the negative, and he always spoke his mind, unfiltered and unmistakably himself. He was also the life of every gathering, a happy-go-lucky spirit who loved nothing more than to get everyone up and dancing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Emilia; his four children, Edwin Trujillo, Sandy Trujillo, Michelle Trujillo, and Diego Danny Trujillo; his grandchild, Adam Trujillo; and his surviving brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Efren Trujillo Contreras and Antonia Merino; a sister; and a brother.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Southwest Funeral Home, 9040 FM 359 Road, Richmond, TX 77406, US, on June 25, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Forest Park Southwest Funeral Home located at 9040 FM 359 Road, Richmond, TX 77406, US, on June 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park Southwest Cemetery located at 9040 FM 359 Road, Richmond, TX 77406, US, on June 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
