Tony's greatest pride was the family he built with his beloved wife, Patricia, whom he married on November 6, 1982. Their forty-three years of marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they raised four beautiful daughters: Michelle Kay, Carrie Lee, Karly Sue, and Deanna Ray Lawson. His legacy continued to flourish through his nine cherished grandchildren—Paige, Anthony, and Christopher Caraway; Joshua and Nia Cuellar; Amayah Robinson; and Kyson and Kamilah Faraj, along with Christopher Johnson. He is also survived by his two sisters Kammy Gomez and Melanie Wright. Tony also delighted in his two great-grandchildren, Atreus and Athena Hall, who brought immense joy to his later years.
A dedicated union lineman beginning in 1982, Tony spent over four decades serving his community with skill and unwavering commitment. His work ethic was legendary among his colleagues, and he took great pride in a career that powered homes and businesses throughout Texas and California .After more than forty years of faithful service, Tony enjoyed a well-earned retirement in 2025. When he wasn't working, Tony could be found with a fishing rod in hand, enjoying the tranquility of the water, cheering passionately for his favorite football teams, grilling for his family or trying his luck with the Texas lottery—always with a smile and eternal optimism.
Tony's dedication, and love touched everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, family devotion, and the simple wisdom of finding joy in life's everyday moments.
