As he would say "We were old friends" An old soul that reminds me to never leave anything till later. Do it now Ride that Bike See that sunset. Life ain't promised he would say.

I was one of Emorys care givers at sitter & barefoot veterans care center I was also his friend he was very proud of his time in the army being airborne he talked to me up to the end about wanting to do another jump he also loved motorcycles he would ask me every day to walk with him so he could get strong  enough to leave and ride on his motorcycle Emory could at times be a little stubborn to say the least but I could never stay upset with him he really did have a good heart he will always be one of my favorite and most memorable veterans I've had the privilege of knowing and caring for RIP love you my friend.
