Alma Luck Brown, 95, of Richmond died Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Mrs. Brown was born May 2, 1919; she married William Mitchell “Buster” Brown in 1944; and was secretary to 13 mayors of the City of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Meredith S. Luck and Lynwood L. Luck; and a sister, Mildred L. Ergens. Survivors include her sister in law, Ann B. Luck of Richmond; nephews, Meredith S. Luck, Jr. of Ft. Payne, Alabama and John W. Luck of Richmond; nieces, Judith L. Baxley of Greenville, S.C., Lynn L. Clayton of Richmond, and Jane L. Gambrell of Columbia, S.C. Mrs. Brown was a lifelong member of Grace Baptist Church where donations to the Mission Fund may be made in lieu of flowers. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Baptist Church, 4200 Dover Road.
