Ann Douglas

DOUGLAS, Ann, 80, of Hanover, Va., passed away April 9, 2016. Patricia Ann was born November 8, 1935 in Richmond, Va., to parents, Earl and Clara Robertson, who along with a sister, Eva Mae Robertson pre-deceased her. She is survived by sisters, Barbara Whittington and Catherine Somoskey; brother, Richard Robertson; children, Donald Douglas, Earl Douglas, Vickie Hicks, Sandra Douglas and Kenneth Douglas; 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She enjoyed exercising on her treadmill and taking long walks. You could always find her on the weekend watching golf on every TV in the house. She retired from Cadmus, formerly William Byrd Press, after 30 plus years of service. She enjoyed the numerous visits from her work family that she loved so dearly. Her passion was her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter to whom, along with her friends, she loved and gave thanks for each and every day. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home-Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Va. 23229 and where a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial & Cremation Park.
