Ann was Salutatorian, class of 1950 John Marshall High School in Richmond, Va. She received her B.S. in Mathematics from VCU and a Master of Education from Shenandoah University. She taught for many years for Richmond Public Schools.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gene Threadgill, and a daughter Robin Arfsten. She is survived by her children; Russell Threadgill, Ronald Threadgill, and Susan Barker and husband Todd, three grandchildren Graham Barker, Wyatt Barker, and Case Shott.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 24 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Westhampton Memorial Park
