POFF, Avoline Smith, 77, passed away June 25, 2015 in Henrico, Virginia. She was born February 14, 1938 in Staunton, Virginia to Joseph Tyree Smith and Delphia Susan Snyder Smith. Her parents; two sisters, Mary Susan Smith and Wilda Smith; and four brothers, Arvin Smith, George Anson Smith, Joseph Stanley Smith and James Mark Smith predeceased her. She is survived by her husband, Paul Milton Poff of Henrico, Virginia; brothers and sisters Robert Scott Smith, Fishersville, Virginia; Charles Edward Smith, Wilma Smith Reed and Boyd Franklin Smith, all of Staunton, Virginia; Thelma Gladys Sanchez, Georgia; and Dolan Mack Smith, of Richmond, Virginia as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside memorial service at 2:00 pm on Monday June 29, 2015 at Westhampton Memorial and Cremation Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23238. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the spay/neuter program at the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Road, Richmond, Virginia 23220.
