The 1800 block of Elesmere Ave. was a special block - the Moseley's lived on the corner, my Grandparents (the Poole's) were across the street, 2 doors down, and the Hart's were 2 doors down from there.It was a great place to grow up! It was one big family. My Mother was always glad that Barbara was at REEH for her surgeries. Barbara and I were always happy to see each other in the grocery store to catch up and reminisce. I will miss my friend.

I had the privilege of working with you, Barbara, for many years at Richmond Eye and Ear Hospital.  Life was a lot easier knowing you were at the desk!  A funeral in my own family kept me from the most recent REEH get-together lunch on March 22.  There I would have enjoyed seeing and chatting with you.  Barbara, once again, I will miss the chance to say that with other friends on Friday night as Rick and I will be celebrating our anniversary out of town. Jeff, I was sorry to hear about your mother you always spoke of her in such high regard. If you need anything let me know. The loss of a parent is always hard, you miss asking their advise and talking to them when they arent here on earth but you know you can still hear their voice or words of advise when you dont even think about it. Treasure in your heart and mind all the things whether good or bad that is where it matters the most. She will always be looking out for you and yours.
